If you are newer to the gym and health club scene, this is a great place to get started!
• Equinox – Equinox offers 2 locations, one in the Pacific Coast Stock Exchange building in the center of San Francisco, and another in San Mateo. Equinox is a high-end facility for serious fitness enthusiasts - they offer all the amenities and options you could possibly want in an environment that does nothing but energize you!
• Gold’s Gym – Gold’s has a number of locations in the Bay Area: two in San Francisco, one on Brannan Street the other right on Market. Other locations are scattered around the Bay, in Oakland, Redwood City, Corte Madre, and San Mateo. All of these facilities have recently been updated – if you're serious about pumping some iron or just venting that pent up energy, you should check their locations out.
